Data Deletion
Effective date: 2026-09-27
This page explains how to request deletion of your data from Sourgent (the “Service”). There is currently no self-service “delete my account” button in the product — deletion is handled by contacting us directly at the address below.
How to request deletion
Send an email to brahimcontact64@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, and include:
- the email address you use to sign in to the Service;
- the name of the workspace(s) you want deleted, or a request to delete your whole account;
- whether you want only your personal account data removed, or an entire workspace (including its sourcing projects, supplier lists, and messages) removed.
We use this information only to locate and verify the correct account and workspace before acting on the request.
What gets deleted
On a verified request, we delete your account data, workspace data (sourcing projects, supplier lists, messages, uploaded files), and stored integration credentials (Gmail and WhatsApp tokens), subject to the retention exception below.
What we must retain
Your workspace’s audit trail — the record of actions taken in it — is append-only and immutable by design: it cannot be deleted, including after the rest of a workspace’s data is removed. This is a deliberate integrity control, not an oversight, and it applies equally to every workspace. We may also retain the minimum information required to comply with a legal obligation or to resolve a dispute, for as long as that obligation applies.
Revoking connected-provider access
Disconnecting Gmail or WhatsApp from the Integrations page in the Service stops Sourgent itself from using that connection, but it does not, by itself, revoke Sourgent’s access on the provider’s side. For complete revocation, in addition to disconnecting in the Service (or as part of a deletion request), you should also:
- for Gmail: remove Sourgent’s access under Google Account → Security → Third-party access;
- for WhatsApp: remove Sourgent’s access under your Meta Business Settings for the connected WhatsApp Business Account.
When you submit a deletion request, we also delete our own stored copy of the corresponding encrypted access token as part of that request, but only you can revoke the grant on the provider’s side.
Timing
We aim to act on a verified deletion request promptly and in any case within the timeframe required by applicable data protection law.
